What can Maggie be short for?

I have: Margaret, Marguerite, Magdelena, Magnolia...any other suggestions?

I love the name Maggie, but prefer to christen our little one with a more formal name, but I'm not in love with any of the above.

I really like Margeaux or Margo.  I knew a Margeaux with the nickname Maggie and thought it was so adorable!

Maggie is also associated with Megan (my name! Love it!), Mary, and Margie. You could always use Meredith too, but that isn't normally paired with it.

Our friends named their little girl Mairead, and call her maggie. Its the Irish form of margaret, I was told. I love that name.

Margaret is the only name I've ever heard that uses the NN Maggie. I'm a Megan and I've never had anyone call me Maggie before but I have heard stories.
