Is that okay? It's caffeine free, right?
At lunch today I saw a lady come in with her kid and her mom. The kid was a bit older than A, or else really tiny, and she was babbling so she couldn't have been that much older..The waiter asked what they'd like to drink and they ordered strawberry lemonade and coffee, PLUS a kid size Sprite. When it arrived, the grandma asked if the kid could drink out of a straw and the mom was like, "Not yet, but I brought her bottle so I'll put it in there".
My jaw was on the floor.
OH, and MIL gave A strawberry lemonade after I said no to apple juice and chocolate sauce after I said no to ice cream and whipped cream the other night when we were out to eat. We had to tell her that she can't be with him unattended anymore if she is going to try to sneak him off-limits food right in front of us.
WTF is wrong with people?
Re: Sprite in a bottle
I'll add to that
I thought you meant like in the actual bottle, I'm such a dork.

But really...what is wrong with people?!
Ick. H's babybook lists his favorites at 6 mo old. Food- Bagels Drink- Ginger Ale.
MIL is not allowed to feed my babies anything I don't bring over with me, who knows what she would be trying to feed them.
