Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

Are you still using baby wash/shampoo?

Just wondering when you switched away from the infant body wash/shampoo.  Obvisouly I'm not going to use my adult shampoo on DS, but I picked up some "kids" shampoo and wash today rather than the stuff in the infant section.  It was tear free, so I figured it's probably the same stuff and it was cheaper.

Re: Are you still using baby wash/shampoo?

  • Still using it, and will be for at least another year, we got so many soaps/shampoos as a gift, and I plan on using them all before getting new stuff.

  • I'm still using both the shampoo and wash and don't plan on switching anytime soon. I just LOVE the smell and since I have quite a bit of it, I see no reason in spending money on buying newer stuff.

  • We still use it, but we have tons left. I was thinking about when we could change.

  • With my dd (who's 7), I switched when her hair got long enough that it started getting tangly when I used a combo - maybe 18 months or so?  With my son, I'm still using it - not sure when I'll stop since his hair is so short.

  • We use Mustela and it still seems to work great on DD so I plan to keep her on that as long as possible.  DD does need conditioner now though to help brush out tangles.  I tried Suave Kids conditioner and it's not working so well with DD.  I just got California Baby Calming Conditioner and plan on trying it out tonight.  If that doesn't work, I know my conditioner works on her but it's not tear free.  I'm hoping her new conditioner works out.

  • Still using it (Aveeno Baby) but only because I got so much at my shower - lol!

  • Still using the baby soap, probably will for awhile since I have a lot of good coupons through the end of the year.

We've been using the johnson's no more tangle extra conditioning shampoo since she was about a year. I guess I consider that more a "toddler" shampoo.

  • I still use the baby shampoo on all 3 kids.  Even the big kids cry still if they get soap in ther eyes! Sad

We are doing the exact same thing. Also I love the smell of the baby wash/lotion and I'm going to keep my girls smelling that way as long as I can! =0)

  • We have some 'kids' bubble bath that we use for fun occasionally, but we still use the  baby body wash and shampoo.  I'm not sure when we'll switch.

  • We are still using it and probably will until it runs out. We got a lot at my baby shower.

  • We are, mostly because we use it for DS too and so it's easier to have a baby shampoo and an adult shampoo, not baby child and adult.

  • I still use the Aveeno baby wash but I use a toddler tear free shampoo.

  • I still use it on both boys. It's just easier that way.

  • yep on both. I do use conditioner on my big girl bc she gets tangles otherwise. I love the smell, and it is just easier that way. Plus, they're still babies!

  • We are still using the baby shampoos and washes for his body. But I recently switched DS to a 2 in 1 kids shampoo that is supposed to help moisturize. His hair gets super dry. It seems to have helped a lot. And you're right...much cheaper!
  • Yes we are still using baby wash...Aveeno.  DS has eczema so I'm in no hurry to switch..plus we keep his hair super short so it's not like he needs a heavy duty shampoo

  • I will definitely be using it for awhile, as I went a little crazy before our daughter was born with the sales and coupons and bought several cases.

Needless to say, I have since learned that babies do not use as much shampoo and/or body wash as I do!  (Ugh ... stupid first-time-mummy moment!)
