Fondue recipes

Anybody have some easy tasty fondue recipes?  My friend and I are going to try it (I've never ever had fondue :)  We have a box of cheese stuff that came in a christmas basket last year lol... is that all we need?  Or is making it from scratch better?  We have borrowed a pot that is heated with the can, or my friend heard if you are going to do meats, you need an electrical one so it gets hot enough?  I can't believe I've made it 37 years and am still a fondue virgin...

TIA!

Angie

Do you have to have a recipe within the next few hours?

If not, I purchased the Melting Pot recipe book last year. I could go home and look through it and type some out for you if you would like.

We are doing it Tuesday, so that would be awesome if you could get me a couple!  Don't spend tons of time on it, but I would really appreciate it!  On the menu is shrimp, steak, chicken, and bread...

    Thank you so much!!

Fondue is my dad's favorite so we have done LOTS of fondue over the years.  Our fav is to not do cheese but make a full on dinner.  We use peanut oil and get steak, chicken, prawns, scallops, mushrooms, cauliflower, broccoli, and cook them in the peanut oil fondue.  My mom also makes a dip for the veggies with sour cream, dill weed (lots of it) and garlic powder.  We do cocktail dipping sauce for the seafood.  Yum really hungry now!

    Good luck!

You have to tell me which one you used, I still haven't tried to make any yet.
