Went to weeknight shower and it was great

Just in case any of you were considering it - last night I went to a shower for a friend, most people were there 7-9p and it was a nice weeknight event.  Still have my Saturday to myself and it was a nice break from the usual Thursday night.

Wanted to share.  :)

    I agree - as hectic as a weeknight event can be, it is so nice not to have to give up a part of your weekend!

    I have no aversion to this at all!  While, with DS, it could be hard to do depending on the weeknight, I'm not against getting a sitter to get out of the house for a bit. ;)

    I had 3 showers and I know at least one of them was on a week-night.  No big deal and I think people enjoyed getting out in the middle of the week (and not using a week-end day to go to a shower).
