Negative HPT after D&C?

I feel like the final thing I need before I can officially put my m/c behind me is a negative pregnancy test.  I'm so terrified of taking one now as I'm worried it'll still be positive.  I had a D&C 3 1/2 weeks ago.  I haven't had any blood drawn since my loss so I really have no clue as to where my levels were/are.  How long after your loss did your levels return to 0 or did you get a negative HPT?
BFP#1: 9.16.08 DD: 5.28.09
BFP#2: 7.10.11 MMC: 8.3.11 D&C: 8.29.11
BFP#3: 12.5.11 MC: 12.22.11
BFP#4: 2.14.12 MMC: 3.8.12 D&C: 3.13.12 Loss due to Trisomy 16
BFP#5: 6.11.12 MC: 6.28.12 Loss due to Triploidy
RPL BW, Sonohystogram, Chromosome testing on DH and myself = everything is normal
BFP#6: 12.4.12 EDD: 8.16.13
Things I did different with this pregnancy:
1. Waited TTC until after I had 3 normal menstrual cycles.
2. Got a new OB - amazing man who listened!
3. 200 mg progesterone until 12 weeks
4. Daily lovenox injections

    I took a pregnancy test 10 days out and was negative.  I was surprised because it seemed like it dropped so quickly.

    For me it took about 4 weeks. 2 weeks out it was still at a 31, so I went back 2 weeks later and it was finally down to 0.

    I haven't had my beta levels drawn at all but I took a test yesterday (11 days after my d&c) and it's still positive. It's a lot lighter than it was and it took longer for the positive to come up, so I'm hoping that means the levels are dropping.

    It took me 28 days post D&C to get a negative. So you're probably getting close!!! GL!

    I had a negative test 2 weeks after. I went for my post op appt that day and had blood drawn, my hcg was down to 3. I would take one you will probably be suprised. Also I then O a week after my negative hpt.
    DS is 3 years old* BFP#1-12/30/11, CP-1/6/11* BFP#2- 1/31/11-missed M/C at 9 weeks-3/9/11, D&C-3/14/11* BFP#3-7/13/11-M/C at 10 weeks-8/26/11, D&C -8/29/11* BFP#4-10/31/11- Beta at 10DPO-19, Beta at 12DPO-118, RE recommended heparin 2X daily and progesterone 2X daily.
