What is the girl equivalent to hot wheels/matchbox?

With DS, a quick bribe, I mean incentive, of a hot wheels car can work wonders. And I like them because he plays with them a ton, and they are only $1.What is the girl equivalent? I was looking around trying to find something small for about $1, and I couldn't find anything easy. Any ideas?

  • How old?

Elastics, headbands, barrettes (all Target $1 spot)

crayons, markers, pencils, stickers (again, all Target $1 spot)

Eh, screw it.  Just go to Target $1 spot and find some girly things!  ;)

  • Lip gloss/chapstick

    Fingernail polish or decals

    Stickers

    Hair stuff

  • Jodi - I am cracking up

I am just not good with picking out the girl stuff. I guess I need to open my mind up a bit more. (And yes, she's received some "girly-looking" according to DS hotwheels cars and loves those too.)

And stickers. How could I forget about stickers? And lip balm is also a great suggestion.

  • Squinkies, buy a big back and you can give them out as rewards.  I don't think there is anything $1 in the store that is a girl toy.

  • I second squnkies.  I hate them but she loves them and the big pack is $9 for 16.  They also have princess and Hello Kitty ones which have been a huge hit around here.

  • In my house the things that work are lip glosses, anything dress up related, Barbie related, My Little Pony stuff.  Of course, with my 3 1/2 year old - Skittles still hold magic powers and the promise of 1 tiny little Skittle does wonders.
