Best age for Disneyworld?

from your experiences. We are thinking when DS is 3.5 so not next Summer (2009) but the next 2010.  Or should we wait til he's even older then that?

We are waiting until the kids are around 5&6.  Old enough to know to listen and stay with us but young enough to still enjoy the magic of it.  :)

  • Any Age!!! ?We brought DS when he was 10 months and he loved it and we had a blast! ?We are going again next Sept when DS will be almost 3 and I can not wait! ?I am a Disney FREAK though! ?lol ?Seriously there is not really a bad age to take kids there. ?It is a family park so there really is stuff to do at every age. ?So whenever you choose to go he will love it!

  • I think it depends on what you're trying to get out of it.  I think your DC will have fun this summer.  But, he won't remember it.  If you want him to remember it, I'd wait until he's in elementary school.
  • We're going two years from this Christmas when DS is almost 4. I think that's a good age.
  • Well, my dd will be 3 next month.  She has been twice a year since she was born.  Every trip has been different for her, the last one (last month) the most fun.  She really interacted with the characters and was so, so excited about her autograph book.  I do see alot of kids that are afraid of the characters at her age, but she has been around them enough to love them...and think that they are real. I think she really wanted Mary poppins to be her nanny.

  • We're close by, so we'll probably go for the first time with the boys before Miles is two (so the boys are free...LOL). This is just because it's been a while since I've been and I want to go. After that, I'll probably wait until they are 4 & 5.
  • I'd like to go when DD is tall enough to go on all the rides and old enough to remember.  I'm thinking 4-5 years old.
