What does a bladder infection feel like?

I have been having cramps ... am fully hydrated.  Nurse suggested I come in for a pee test to see if I have a bladder infection.  I really dont think I have one though ... maybe just growing pains?

I had one in college. It felt like a UTI on crack. It was extremely painful to pee. I could hardly pee, but always felt like I had to (much like a UTI). I don't remember having any painful cramping though.

It happened because I drank too much alcohol all weekend and was then very dehydrated. They had to use a catheter on me to get a urine sample.

Like your bladder and urethra are on fire....not really a crampy thing. Now a kidney infection can definitely be confused with cramps.

I had one a couple years ago and waited too long before I saw a dr. By the time I went I had really bad cramps. Also it hurt like hell when I would pee.

I?d go take the test.

I found out I had a bladder infection a month or so ago, I didn't even know I had it so I would definitely go get it checked out just to be on the safe side.

The constant urge to pee and then getting to the bathroom and not really peeing. Ugh the worst.

Sometimes it feels painful to pee, like a burning feeling but sometimes it doesn't feel like anything. I recently got the results from my urine sample and my Dr. told me I have one but I haven't had any discomfort what so ever and would've never known I had one.
