So my DH and I just have a gut feeling our little one is going to come early. DH has been right on his gut feelings during my pregnancy thus far, lol! Well she went head down at the end of 26 weeks. I don't think this is an indication, but was curious if this has happened to you and then your LO cam early? But I'm only 31 weeks, still have a while to go!

Re: LO Head down early?
I also have that feeling that our baby will be early. Not sure why but I just am convinced.
I have no idea if it means anything or what is normal, but our baby was head down at out 28 week ultrasound.

When my mom was pregnant with me I was head down from very early on and she went into labor at almost exactly 37 weeks only to discover that I turned the day before and she had to have a c-section. My mom had very complicated pregnancies though so I can't say for sure that me being head down for so long had anything to do with it.
I also have a very strong feeling that LO will come early. It's similar to the overwhelming feeling I had that she was a girl and I was right about that so who knows? Unfortunately at every u/s so far (I've had a lot) she has been sideways. I am hoping she turns soon because I really don't want a c-section.

Im going to have to agree with one of the other posters. When/IF your baby turns head down early has ZERO bearing on when you will go into labor and seriously don't start convincing yourself that she's going to come early (especially if you're a FTM).
Those last few weeks are SO hard it's best to prepare to go to 40-42 weeks and be pleasantly surprised if you go into labor early than to plan/expect to go into labor early b/c those last few weeks become even HARDER.
just my 2 cents as a mom on her 4th baby
my LO didn't go head down until 36 weeks.. and I'm still pregnant. But my Dr. said it doesn't matter... LO could switch positions again on my walk to the car.
ETA: like other posters have said.. don't get your hopes up.. seriously once you hit 37 weeks it starts getting so hard! I thought I would go early too because I started having BH at 20 weeks, and then my Dr. checked me at 37 weeks and told me I wasn't going to make it to my due date... let me tell you, these last 3 weeks have been miserable and I am so freaking ready. Just assume you are going past your due date and hopefully you won't be disappointed.
"What did my fingers do before they held you? What did my heart do with it's love?"
My friend's baby was head down early and flipped back to breech at 35 weeks. Head back down after 36 weeks.
Honestly - at this point, your baby could very easily flip up, down, all around so it means nothing that it's head down already.
Our LO had his/her head down at 27 week ultrasound. I have had a feeling I was going to go early too. However, I am 38w2d and only dilated to 2cm. I am almost 90% effaced as of last Friday, but I rarely feel even BH contractions.
I will be induced Tuesday only because of my older age and prehypertension. If I was younger and not on BP meds I am sure I would be going past Oct 4.
