AW: All the pumping pays off!

Hey all!

As some of you may remember, last week I was so bummed that Jonah had only gained 2 oz while he had been home with us. Well, we went in for a weight check today and my little guy is now 6 lbs 2 oz!

Last week he was 4 lbs 15 oz, and birth weight was 4 lbs 4 oz. I cannot even express how happy I am. Granted, he hasn't pooped since dinner time yesterday, and he had just eaten 2 oz, but still- he's in the ballpark of 6 lbs. I really can't believe it. Now, if we could just add some fat on his arms....

Today is also his due date, which as you guys I'm sure know, is bittersweet. I'm celebrating with newborn photos- she should be here in about 20 mins. I will be sure to share.

Congrats-that's awesome weight gain! You've been working really hard and it is certainly helping Jonah grow!

And happy due date day. Newborn pics are a great way to celebrate. Its a surreal day but snuggle him close and enjoy all those cute pictures!

Yay!  Way to go.  Keep pumping.  It is worth it.  I miraculously kept pumping for 9 months.  I never thought I would be able to keep up once I went back to work, but somehow did it.
