My mom has been texting me so I sent her an email to tell her that I'm not ignoring her, just busy with back to work and the baby doesn't want to eat when I'm gone. So my mom told me that I could put honey into his bottles to help him take them. Wow.
Re: Stellar advice
My Grandma gives me crazy advice like this a lot! And she has 5 kids and 17 grandkids! She used to put whiskey or gin (can't remember, I was in shock) on frozen wash clothes when her babies were teething.
I mean this as a funny story, not a crazy cakes story, so please don't slam my grandmother... she honestly didn't know.
I took my grandmother for a stroll in the mall with both of the boys two weeks ago. I had DS1 in the stroller and grandmother couldn't keep herself from snuggling with DS2, so she carried him. When it was time to leave, DS2 was passed out in grandma's arms, so she just got in the front seat holding him. I thought, "Oh, that's nice, she want's to keep him cool in the AC while I put DS1 in his carseat."
I finished putting DS1 in his carseat and ask my grandmother to hand me DS2. She asks if she can just hold him on the way home since he's sleeping so peacefully. I just kind of chuckled, "No, Grandma, we can't drive anywhere without both of the boys strapped into their carseats. It's illegal." She had NO CLUE!
Just goes to show you how few grandkids she has, and that we were all raised over 7 hours away from her...
