I'm sorry in advance...this is a long and totally pointless AW, but I'm so excited that I have to say something!
You know when I posted before about my dream boots - how I wanted them as weight loss motivation but they aren't sold any more? Well, I miraculously found them. And even better, because they've been discontinued, they were on clearance for 60% off! (Which means they were still ridiculously expensive, but a LOT less than the original $1,200.) So after a quick conversation with Ben, I bought them!
And OMG...they are GORGEOUS. The leather is beyond
divine, the heel is a great height, and the color is exactly what I wanted.
I was really lucky with the size, since the store only had 3 pairs left: a 9.5, 10 and 11. I wear a 9 these days (up from an 8 in my pre-baby days), but the 9.5 was only about 1/4 of a size too big - and that can be fixed that with thick socks in winter or these in warmer weather.
They are the most beautiful item of clothing
I've ever owned, and I can't wait to wear them once I hit my goal weight! Definitely a good motivator to stay on the straight and narrow with my healthy eating and exercise!
Re: BOOOOOOOOOOOTS!
That's awesome! I love me a good pair of boots
I didn't realize you had added a weight loss ticker til I saw C's comment - I laughed out loud at "Operation Fat Ass" and woke my kid up
Haha, but hilarious, nonetheless! And great job thus far!

wow, what great luck! it was meant to be
I have a nice pair of boots (definitely not as nice as those) that I got about a year ago. They are too tight in the calves - beyond me just having big calves from dance they are cut strangely, they go in at the top as if they are meant to go completely over the calves but on my they are about 1.5" too short for that to work. Not sure if that is a place that I will realistically get smaller even with massive weight loss. But I'm waiting to see before having them stretched or modified.
