xp:Travel bed for a toddler?

Does anyone have a travel bed they recommend for a toddler OTHER than the one at Onestepahead.com? I'm about to order that one, but thought I'd check to see if there are others out there. Thanks!

  • Are you talking about the blue air mattress with the slightly raised sides around it?  If so, we have that one and it works great!
  • We use the Regalo My Cot Portable Travel Bed Regalo My Cot Portable Travel Bed from Walmart ($29.00).  DD likes it and it folds small, like a portable chair in the bag that you would take camping.  Because it is cot like, she doesn't have any problems falling out of it.  The quality is decent and I think it will last for two kids for monthly travel.

  • Thanks ladies!

JW, that's the one I was thinking. How small does it fold up to?

JoeBunny, I've seen those. I am hoping for something I can fold up and tuck in the front pocket of my suitcase. Thank you for the suggestion! I want to buy one of those for my son to use at daycare.

  • I have the same one Joebunny has and I'm really happy with it. The only thing I don't like is the "sheet" it comes with. It's thin and rough. I discovered though that if you have any Ultimate Crib Sheets (which I have many), they work **perfect**!!
  • You *might* be able to get it into the front pocket of a large suitcase.  I don't know how big your suitcase is.  This is not to say that it can not fold up small....I'd say it takes up the space a diaper bag would take up, but not as thick.  Sorry, that's the only thing that I can think of.  The only negative is that the air pump needs to be fully charged before inflating.  You can't have the pump plugged in while it is in use.  We are notorious for forgetting to charge the pump.
