I am still undecided. Theone year I got itvwas the one year I got the flu so I am on the fence.
This is just a coincidence. The flu shot doesn't cause the flu because its a dead virus.
I will definitely be getting one, as will DS and DH. Some of the logic that people use to not get the vaccine just doesn't make sense to me. Just because you've never had the flu doesn't mean you can't get it. I've never had small pox, but if I was exposed, I might get it Also, the stomach flu is not the same thing as influenza, which is what the vaccine protects against. So yes, you may have gotten the shot at one point and then gotten the stomach flu, but that's because they're two different illnesses.
And there's my 2 cents

I've been getting them every year since I started working at my current job. The year I was pg w/DD I got it the day before I delivered her. With this pregnancy I plan to wait until I'm 13 weeks, out of the 1st trimester before I get the shot. I think it's recommended that every PG woman get the shot.
I get one every year and will be getting one this year. I've always sort of felt like I owe it to the people who can't get the vaccine so it won't spread to them from me.
While we're on the topic of vaccines, I also got MMR and pertussis before I became pregnant (when we were first thinking of trying). I guess whooping cough is making a comeback because people aren't getting vaccinated and it can be lethal for babies. I have no idea if you can get this while pregnant or breastfeeding but maybe your family or at least DH can get it to reduce the chance of our little April babies catching it. That's just my little public service announcement for the evening

We've been vaccinated toward those. I didn't say we don't do vaccines, I just don't care for them. I got ya covered
