We are team pink and I am trying to pick out paint colors for her nursery and bathroom. I'm looking for almost a "blush" color vs. a pink pink. When I went to Sherwin williams I picked a color called "feather white". Have any of you used this before? Or can you recommend a specific color that you like that's not too pink and very subtle? TIA!
Re: paint colors for nursery
My biggest suggestion is that unless you are VERY sure of it, get a sample and put it on the wall before buying the whole gallon
. Having a few days to live with it will give you the best idea if it really is the color you were aiming for. I've painted many rooms but I am still sometimes surprised about how different a color feels once its on the wall, particularly because of all the lighting variations in homes.
I like my "blush" colors a tiny bit less brown and my two favorite Sherwin blushes are "Loveable" and "Bella Pink" although the one you picked is also lovely and would definitely not be bubblegum!
Sherman Williams has a colour visualizer - you can upload your nursery photo and try out colours without the hassle of painting!
I'm not sure if any of these would work for you but they seemed kind of in line with what you are looking for:
Priscilla 6575
Alyssum 6589
Impatiens Petal 6582
Comical coral 6876
Teaberry 6561
Lighthearted pink 6568
The only thing I would caution you on is that a little bit of light colour on a wall can look an awful lot deeper than the paint chip suggests, get paint samples!
