I did. DS's aftercare instructions were to put Neosporin on gauze. That's what I did, and had no issues with the diapers (mostly prefolds, a few AIOs thrown in).
If you're worried about getting stuff on the diapers, just use a fleece liner.

Thanks. I know I had read before that some people use disposables until it heals but I wasn't sure why. Approximately how long does it take to heal?
Our pedi used the Plastibel method which didn't require any vasoline so we used our CDs no problem. I want to say the little plastic cap fell off before his cord stump, so less than 2 weeks to heal.

Thats what we did too but I cut out some fleece liners out of an old fleece blanket we had laying around.
People don't always CD because if you get vaseline on your CD's it can ruin them. Stripping vaseline off CD's can be very difficult. Either use a fleece liner or posies till the circumsion is healed. I used fleece liners with no problem.
