Your doctor?

I called my dr's office to make an appointment for my annual physical. She's on maternity leave. I'm bummed. She's with Everett Clinic. It would be great to find another dr there... but, I could see a dr somewhere else. Do you have a doctor who makes time to listen and seems smarter than the average bear? I will travel... about 25 miles... Kirkland, Bellevue, Seattle, Edmonds, Redmond, Everett.

Re: Your doctor?

  • I see Philip Henderson at Providence OBGYN at the Providence Pavilion in Everett.  I really like him!  He always answers my questions and the pap smear was the least unpleasant I've ever had. haha

ETA:  I just reread your question and not sure why I assumed you were looking for a GYN.  My primary is at the Everett Clinic in Mukilteo: Stephen Dahlberg.  I haven't been seeing him long, but really like him so far.

  • I see Dr. Gretchen Lockard at Edmonds Birth & Family (425.640.4950). She's knowledgable, personable, and...well, just great! All the other doctors at her office are wonderful, too (I've seen Skariah, Nelson, Erickson, and Zeh). Good luck!

  • I really like Catherine Rodgers at Sound Women's in Everett. For my birth I have changed to a birth center, but I'll go back to her again afterwards for my own yearly check-ups. She's always been great and I've seen her for years and years.

Thank you. I might need a GYN. I always thought monthly cramps were the same for everyone. I asked other bumpies and found out that not everyone has pain in the same area. Mine seems to be where my ovaries are located. After reading up on endo, it could be that.

    Thanks, everyone.
