Tips for the second time around...

Hi Ladies!

I work, I have a 2 year old, and am currently almost 16 weeks pregnant with my second LO. Things have been so hectic, I have't event started to prepare, which makes me feel guilty because I was  meticulous when it came to preparations the first time around.  I'm tempted to hire a baby planner.  Has anyone used one?  Was it it worth it?  TIA!

  • I'm in the same boat as you- 20-month-old little guy, working full time, planned like a madwoman for our first baby, and expecting our second in February. I feel much more confident this time around that we've got everything we need already. After your first, you realize how much crap the baby stores and websites try to push on expecting moms. You just need the basics (diapers, crib/bassinet, car seat, a few outfits, receiving blankets, and maybe a swing/bouncer).... plus, friends and family for support! With a super-active toddler, I've got bigger fish to fry than planning a coordinating nursery!
