going crazy itching!

i think i have PUPPS. i went in for blood work yesterday, i hope to know *something* by my regularly scheduled appt tomorrow. it could also be cholestasis.

either way, the freaking itching is killing me! my legs are the worst, and now it's spreading to my belly. i've tried antihistamines - pills and topicals. my skin isn't dry, and i'm taking warm (not hot) showers. i read that pine tar soap is supposed to help, but so far it only brings me relief for about 30 minutes. it's keeping me up at night. nothing is helping i think when DH gets home i might try an oatmeal bath (i need his help to get out of the tub!).

i am going BSC. anyway, no point to this post other than to vent.

I'm sorry I know it sucks so bad! I have cholestasis. I got some relief after being on the rx med for about a week and I'm not itching anymore. Do your hands and feet itch? That was where I was mainly itching.

i have a little itching on the top of my feet, but i think more than anything that is coming from my ankles (where the itching is the worst). did you have itching anywhere else on your body, or just hands/feet? i'm thinking it's probably PUPPS b/c i have red spots all over and i don't think that comes with cholestasis.

i'm really hoping my doctor can give me or tell me something tomorrow!

sorry you are dealing with cholestasis, but happy that your meds brought you relief!

My back and boobs itched some but no rash. It was the palms of my hands and bottom of feet. I bet yours is Puups then. I hope you get some relief soon!

Oh no, I hope it isn't PUPPS, I've heard such awful stories from women who've had it.  Hope your oatmeal bath brings you some relief!

Yowch that sounds so sucky Really hoping it is something treatable and that oatmeal can do a good enough job until the Dr weighs in !
