XP: Coasting early in IVF Cycle?

Hi ladies!  I'm from the IF board, and I'm looking for a little advice from you.  I recently began stims for my first IVF cycle. Apparently I'm stimming faster than they expected, and I was told to discontinue stims until they tell me to start back up. I'm worried because I had only done 3.5 days of stims when they told me that! I've heard of coasting, but usually after 8-9 days of stims. Did any of you coast that early in your cycle?

I didn't coast quite that early, but I did coast in the cycle that ultimately was successful and I believe it helped tremendously with my egg quality (they believe I triggered too early the first time due to OHSS fears).  I still technically developed OHSS the 2nd time (though much less severe).

Hi there. The same thing happened to me -- 4 days of stims made my E2 sky high and I started developing mild OHSS, so they had me coast. My ER was 4 or 5 days later. I was worried, but thankfully ended up getting 22 eggs (16 fert, transferred 2, 7 more made it to freeze).

I did get a BFP afterwards, but it ended up being ectopic. I am now pregnant from an FET using embryos from that cycle.
