I'm a lurker but I've read a few posts about resuming exercise (particularly running) prior to the 6 weeks post delivery.

I wish I could have done that, but I was literally bleeding for 4 weeks after.  I couldn't even imagine going out and running anywhere with that going on.

How long did you bleed after you delivered?  (sorry TMI just really curious).

I did for about 5 1/2 weeks with baby #2 and 6 weeks with baby #1. Note after week three it wasn't heavy, but present. I think its all within the "normal" range...

i bled for about 3- 4 weeks  after having my son

3-4 weeks, although it was very minor by about 2, 2.5 weeks out.

I only bled for about a week and a half and then a few days around the three week mark. I found the hardest thing was bladder control... I was only just able to start running this week and even still my muscles aren't quite strong enough that I feel comfortable.
