Sadie's more of a nickname....or a dog

 (My SN comes from the musical "Funny Girl" Sadie, Sadie, married lady...yeah I'm a musical theatre dork.)

I like Chloe better. Sadie reminds me of a pet name. I've only known 2 Sadies - one was a dog and one was a cat.

I knew way too many dogs named Sadie growing up, so my association always goes there (sorry). Chloe is NMS but it's a nice name.

My husband doesn't like Sadie because it in Snoop Dog's song Gin and Juice??? haha! Yeah I've heard Sadie is a dogs name so that is why I'm getting some opinions.

 

My last name is Collins. Do you think that is too many C's though? Chloe Collins????

If you like the nn Sadie, maybe consider Mercedes? Then you can call her Sadie... It was a name before it was a car.

I thought about Chloe Grace Collins. But Grace is used so many times as a middle name. Any other middle name suggestions? My mom really love Sadie Lea Collins too.

I prefer Sadie. Reminds me of the movie Big Business with Lily Tomlin and Bette Midler. Both sets of twins were named Sadie and Rose. Cute movie...

My name is Sadie Lee. Ha. But, YES, too many pets!!!!!!!! I used to get SO tired of someone asking what my name is then they go "Oh, I have a dog/cat/parrot named that." Ugh. It was my great-great grandmother's name. I also get that someone's grandmaws name is that.

I forgot to add that when I approached my lovely hubby about the girl names I liked (Chloe and Sadie) he said umm no! He is picky so this is going to be extra hard. I asked him if he had any suggestions and you know what he told me!!?!! Caroline named after the Carolina Tarheels. Typical male!! Such a sportsaholic!! tehehe

I am biased, but I am a Sadie and I have always enjoyed my name quite a lot . I rarely get mention of it being someone's pet's name; more often it is someone's grandmother (it is, in fact my great grandmother's name) which to me is good because it shows there is some history to it! 

 

 I love Chloe too, but I do love being a Sadie

For me, Chloe=bleh!  It's on my list of dislikes.  And Sadie, well, I used to work in a veterinary clinic and let's just say they were a lot of 'Sadies' as patients.
