What is your favorite wool?

I want to use it this winter and need to start buying some. But I don't have a ton of money to spend. What would you suggest?

I got an upcycled soaker for $15 from etsy that I love. After seeing how easy it would be to make my own, I bought some sweaters from the thrift store and made 3 more soakers and 2 pairs of longies. It was dirt cheap.

I got mine for $17 from myecobaby on etsy.  She will even do a custom for you.  She's really fast at making AND shipping!

Do you suggest a tutorial for how to make these? DS is a super-soaker and I'm going to try some wool. If I like it, I'd like to make my own from old sweaters.
