NE1 hoping for a specific date that isnt your EDD?

I am such a corn-ball and KNOW this baby will come when he ready, not when I think it's cool, but I am due 11/17 and think 11/11/11 would be awesome!  My midwife thinks I'll go earlier than that based on previous pregnancies (my last was 10 days early)....so we'll see!!

My husband also really wants 11/11/11, and I wouldn't complain going a little bit early!

My SO wants her to be born on Halloween lol. I think 11/11 would be cool but am kind of hoping for earlier.

I am due 11/11/11, so I am hoping for anything before then. I like all the November dates because they are all 11/something/11, but I don't want to be there on 11/11/11 when so many other women are scheduled for their scheduled c-sections.

My mom wants 11/11/11 at 11:11, just because 11 is her favorite number.  DH and I would both like DD to be born on the 11/19, my birthday is 1/19, DH's is 3/19, and our anniversary is 7/19, so we thought it would be cool to keep 19 as a special number.  DD is due to make an appearance on 11/17, so who knows.

I would like baby to be born before Thanksgiving so I don't have to share my stomach for my fav holiday.  I'm due on 11/29...so maybe?

My EDD is Nov. 25th, but I would be really happy with either the 18th (my BFF of 18 years/his Godmother-to-be's bday) or the 20th (will be my mom's 60th bday).

FIL's bday is the 27th, so that would be good, too- I think he'd be really tickled by that. I had a dream he would be born on the 30th.

Ultimately, I just hope he comes in November instead of December. My bday is Christmas, and I think pretty much all December birthdays get lumped in with the Christmas holidays.

My EDD is 11/11/11 so I think it would be neat if she were born on that day.  However, as someone above pointed out, a lot of women are scheduling their c-sections for that date, so it might not be fun to be stuck in a crowded hospital and have to vie for rooms.

I am kinda hoping for halloween... I'm due nov. 4 but DD came 2.5 weeks early on Valentines day... so it isn't a crazy thought.

I think two kids both with fun holiday birthdays would be cool

I prefer anytime from the the last week in October until my due date (11/5). I'm not sure why.

I'm due 11/25 and just want the baby to come in November.  There are a ton of November birthdays in my family and I want to continue the tradition!  It would be cool if he came on 11/29, my brother's and sister's birthday

Yes-my baby is due 11/5 but i think all the time how awesome it would be for him to share a birthday with me (halloween).

My bday is on 11/19. It's a really awesome day! I'm due 11/3. 11/11/11 would be fun but L&D is going to be insane on that day. So I'll settle for 11/1/11. I do NOT want a Halloween baby.

11/11/11  would be cool but I am hoping for my due date 11/15.  my husband proposed to me on this day and it is my parent's anniversary.

I am due Nov 21, but hoping for Nov 17 or Nov 27. My sisters were born Nov 16 and Nov 18 (6 years apart) so they want their nephew in the middle And my nana (now deceased) was born Nov 27.

My EDD is November 5th, but we both are really hoping that LO comes early on Halloween....we just keep thinking of the awesome birthday parties we could have for him!

I'm due 11/11 but I'm really hoping for an October baby. I love halloween so I would love to give birth anytime the last week of October.  My DS was 3 weeks early so it is possible but I guess we will see.

I am due 11/21 which I am okay with LO coming on cause DS1's birthday is 6/21 but my birthday is 9/9 and FI's birthday is 2/2 so I think it would be cool for LO to be born on 11/11

By the way, if you go into labor on your own on a day that is over booked for scheduled inductions or whatever, you will be priority... at least that is how it is at my hospital.

I know he will come when he feels like it, but I am hoping for Nov 20th.  That was my dad's birthday, he passed away a year and a half ago.  I also really want to name him Eric after my dad.  No other name seems right, but DH is not sold.     My edd from my doctor is the 12th, from my charting it is the 15th.  I am assuming I will go late for some reason and my doctor said he will "let" me go to 41 weeks which is the 19th.  So I will probably agree to an induction starting the NIGHT of the 19th so I can have him sometime on the 20th.  If he does not come sooner. 

 

I would be careful about hoping for an early baby.  I know most babies are fine a week or 2 early and if they come out then on their own there is nothing to be done about it, but babies NEED to be inside until as close to 40 weeks as possible if not beyond to ensure they are totally ready for life on the outside.  I feel like a lot of people either do not really realize this or just think it is NBD.  I am a doctor by no means, just my HO.

yes, for everyone hoping to go 11/11/11, there is a full moon on the 10th, so I think no matter what L&D will be nuts, and yes, as one poster said, scheduled sections will be bumped if there are women going into natural labor...Good luck and I hope everyone has healthy babies and arrives when they feel ready!

Pretty sure we will be october bound.. I would personally like oct 24th just because it is my favorite brother's b-day but at this point anything past octover 15 would be great (closer to full term the better).... I just really don't want a halloween baby but we will rock that too if it comes down to it lol.

I'm due 11/22/11, which would be a cool day (11+11=22). But, Finley is being named after my great-grandfather, who's birthday was coincidentally Nov. 21. So either day would be pretty cool I think.
