SA/HSG question: kind of long

Hi ladies,

 I haven't mentioned it on the board, but MH and I had an appointment with an RE last week at the recommendation of my OBGYN (she was a little concerned about my LP length and we almost at the 11th month mark).  Anyway, the RE was great and referred MH to get a SA done.  If this is not our cycle, she also wants me to schedule CD3 B/W and a HSG.

It's been a week since our appointment and MH hasn't contacted the urologist for the SA.  I don't want to pressure him because I'm sure it is not the most comfortable situation to be in (he can do a drop off which is good).  In my head I was thinking we would get the SA done before my HSG, but I guess it doesn't matter which order we do things.

Did any of you have the HSG first?  If the SA was done first, did you get the results before your HSG?

We had the SA done before, and got the results within a week. When I had my hsg, I also had a laparoscopy and hysteroscopy so it was a bit more complicated. I would definitely do the SA first.

We had the SA done first and got the results in 3 business days.  Then I had a lap where he did an HSG during the surgery.  Good luck!

my DH had the SA done first and I had an HSG about 3 weeks later. My dr allowed him to give the sample at home and I drove it straight to the lab where I had to get CD3 bloodwork done and a courier brought it to the hospital. He felt a little more comfortable doing that. We just had these heat packs they gave us that had to be placed around the container they gave us.

I had my HSG done earlier this month. I still haven't gotten DH to do his SA. I am letting him off the hook until I know we are out this cycle
