Cute or dumb: WDYT?

I saw a post on 9-12 and a girl was saying she made up a photo book for LO and then had everyone at the party sign it, kind of like a guest book, as a gift for them. I'm thinking this could be really cute - C loves looking at pictures and we could have people write a memory or 2 of her first year. Or is it kind of silly and people will be looking at me like I have 3 heads when I tell them this idea at the party...

I think it is cute.  I do just one page and have everyone sign it.  Then I scan it in and have that at the end of her  yearly photobook I make.  I would just personally have less books than a bunch every year, so I do 1 big one.  ANd then if I get free shutterfly books thru out the year, I do something smaller.....like a vacation book or the zoo trip book.

I think it's a cute idea, as long as it's not a huge party. It will be easier to get pictures of everyone at the party that way.
