It takes a couple of minutes, at least. It's big and bulky so if you don't have the room, you may not like it. I use the same bathroom we use for P's baths and I just turned it up on it's tailend at the opposite end of the tub when I showered in the mornings.
Yeah your not going to want to inflate and deflate everytime you give a bath. But its easy to stand on end at the end of the tub, ours even came with a little suction cup to stick it to the end wall of the shower to dry out.

You mean you're not going to suspend it from the ceiling as a duck chandelier??
