It seems like so many nesties and bumpies are going the cloth route these days.  I was just curious how many of us March mommies are deciding to go one way or the other.[Poll]

I would love to try the new cloth diapers however being a full time working mom, I will stick with the traditional disposables again.

The plan right now is to do some disposable and some cloth. The cloth that I go with will probably be the all-in-ones or the one size although after our little one is here we're going to do a cloth diaper trial with a whole bunch of different diapers. We're doing that through a cloth diaper company my friend owns.

We'll use traditional disposables until LO is big enough to fit into our Bum Genius stash (around 10ish lbs).

DH and I remain undecided regarding cloth vs. disposables. The daycare we are looking at will do cloth diapering so it is definitely an option. I am just so overwhelmed by it that I'm not sure where to start researching. I have looked at the "beginner CD" websites and am still lost so I may just do disposables. I guess we will decide after baby arrives.

SS here. I am going to be doing disposable the first few weeks and when we travel for competitions and when the baby visits my in-laws (my parents will do the cloth, his won't). But the rest of the time, pre-folded in a cover. Not a fan of pins. Looking at using the Thirsties covers. A friend uses them, I like the price, and love the fact they are USA made.

If you are really interested, I would recommend looking into gdiapers. You can do a hybrid that has a cloth cover with a biodegradeable insert. Could be an option for you!

I was reading about those gDiapers this morning, I'm still slightly confused about them.  Have you used them yourself?

I'm a SS.  We're gonna do prefolds with a cover (also planning on the Thirsties brand at this point) for the most part, with a few Thirsties fitteds for nighttime.  We will probably get a few all-in-ones to use for sitters/grandparents if the prefolds or fitteds are confusing...

This for me too. I would like to cloth diaper, but I think it might become a problem when I go back to work and LO goes to daycare. We will probably just end up going with disposables.

I would really like to do some kind of cloth diaper (undecided on which), but I am going to be working full time so it's unlikely I'll actually be able to do that given no Day Care is going to want to put up with that. Boo.

After a 4 month battle with yeast rash, I gave up on doing CD exclusively.  We now only CD when at home, and use sposies when we're out of the house.  I highly recommend the one size pocket diapers, they are simple and cost effective!  Newborns probably need their own set until they're like 8-10lbs though.

I think we are going to do a combination... I'm thinking a combo of AIO CD's and hybrids or prefolds and covers.  I don't really like the inserts idea for some reason, I think I would rather do the AIO or the prefolds with a cover instead of sticking my hand in a diaper and pulling out a dirty insert. 

I'm also going to do my darndest to make a lot of my own.  I'm a big time DIY'er and I can sew, so this sounds like a fun challenge to me :P

If you have "no money" then CDs are by far the cheapest diapering option. However, without a washing machine of my own I dont know if I'd do it. Just thought I'd throw it out there that the cost of CDs are a drop in the bucket compared to what you will spend on disposables from birth thru potty training.

I said Fancy cloth all kinds of adjustable but I should add that I ALREADY OWN ALL I'LL NEED from doing cloth with DD.  I may buy a few just for fun if this really is a boy on the way but I don't NEED them :-)

I was going to do G but am using Charlie Banana instead. Same idea with the disposable inserts, but CB has snaps not velcro.

As soon as my friend's twins figured out their hands the velcro was no match and they were off as fast as she could get them on. Switched to snaps and they are working great!
