Girl name help!

We can't find one we both agree on...

My picks: Morgan, Ashlyn, Hadley

Dh picks: Hope, Jennifer, Ashley, Sydney

Dh is okay for Morgan as a mn, is eh about Ashlyn, and hates Hadley.

I hate Hope and Jennifer, and am okay with Sydney but I feel like I say it weird, and I hate that spelling. Dh says its like Australia.

Does anyone have any suggestions that DH might like? He likes very plain names, mostly from the 80s lol! So I need things that are pretty generic

AND our last name ends with an -ley so sometimes those names do not sound that great.

Well, I'm partial to Sydney (it's DD's name) so I obviously love it! I like his names, except Jennifer, more than yours (sorry). Morgan is okay.

What about Hailey? It's kind of similar to Hadley, but more traditional like his style.

Hailey was my thought too...but its already used in my family I said Abbigail and he vetoed it Thanks, I will ask about the others!

Sydney is the only one I like. Although I say it weird too. It always comes out Cindy. How about Nicole, Heather, Estelle, Gabrielle, Natalie, Rachel, Audrey, mya, Heidi

And I forgot to ask...do you feel like you have to tell people it isn't Cindy? I feel like it sounds like Cindy when I say it. I love the name, and am thinking that might end up being it, but I just worry about the way I say it...lol?!

Every once in a while, if I say her name fast, people will think I said Cindy. It's really no big deal though, I just say "no, Sydney like the city" and we get lots of compliments on her name!

I really don't like Morgan. It reminds me of the word morbid. Always has. I don't like Hadley or Ashlynn at all either. However, I can stand his names. I think if you keep looking you'll come up with something nice that you'll both like.
