We have been set on Lillian Grace for a while now, but I like Lidia too. I like the nickname Lillie (with that spelling) for Lillian, but 'm sure a lot of people would call her by her nickname and Lily is quite popular around here for little girls. My boys are Charlie and Emmett. Any opinion on what you like best? Lillian or Lidia?
Thank you
Re: Lillian or Lidia?
Lydia (spelled correctly).
The Lily-names are too popular and I'm bored with them.
Lillian.
I am just not a fan of Lidia/Lydia at all.
I just posted above that I love the name Lilla, which is a family name for us. It is like Lilly, but with -uh at the end, so Lill-uh. Still lovely but less popular than Lilly.
same for me
Lillian.
Lydia would be okay, but as others have said, only spelled this way.
I agree with both points.
Agreed.
Ditto. Also, I love Lillian but not if you're going to nn her Lilly.
LYDIA!
Please don't use Lidia. Cannot stand the spelling.
Lillian is not bad.
Yeesh. I'm kind of offended people think Lidia is youneek, when it's Spanish/Italian.
Though I prefer Lydia. I have a soft spot for Lillian, because it's my grandmother's name, but I think Lillie/Lily is a little common.
