Trying to Get Pregnant

Talk to me about

Luteal phases. Apparently I've O'd a lot on CD 18 or 19. Most of my cycles are 28 days long. Does the LP need to be longer than 10 days, or is that usually normal?

Re: Talk to me about

  • 12-14 days is considered text book normal although 10 days is on the lower end of normal.

My LP is usually 10-11 days on a 30 day cycle.

  • From what I understand, the luteal phase needs to be at least 10 days, but it's not unusual to have a shorter one here and there.  It's when you're consistently having LPs that are less than 10 days where you might have a deficiency.
