I am sure this gets posted a lot, but when I tried to find a post similar, I didn't get what I was looking for. DD will be 2 & 1/2 when our second is born. I am wondering what the best double stroller would be for my two. I want something not outrageously priced too

TIA!
Re: Double Stroller Recommendations
I guess it depends on what you're wanting to use the stroller for. I really wanted a tandem stroller b/c I feel the side by sides would be a pain to get through doors and maneuver. I wanted something that could accommodate an infant seat. I also wanted something that could handle off roading/parks.
At first I really wanted to get a Phil and Ted's but I couldn't do it for the price. Then we saw a graco duoglider on clearance at target and we figured what the heck lets just grab it and see if we like it. The duoglider is great if you stay on the pavement and is relatively good at maneuvering. It does get hard to push when the heavy kid is in front (and it is recommended that they travel that way) but I've found when DS is passed out in back and DD is up front in the car seat things are so much easier.
I still really really wanted a jogging type stroller for parks and walks. I found a phil and teds on craigslist and purchased the doubles kit. DD lies in the main seat (fully reclined) and DS sits in the doubles attachment above her seat. When she can sit up on her own we'll move the doubles kit to the back of the stroller and DS will sit in the main seat. The phil and ted is much easier to maneuver than the graco but doesn't have as much storage and doesn't accommodate the car seat w/out an attachment, but if I used the car seat I wouldn't be able to use the doubles attachment.
I have read a lot of people recommending the Baby Jogger City Select. I think it's a great idea but I wasn't sold because the front wheels don't look like they could handle walks on the trail etc. It's a tandem stroller too with the option to use one or both seats, so it's very versatile.

Ditto pp - it completely depends on your needs. From the review I've seen on this board of the BJ City Select, I feel like I'm the only person in the world who doesn't like it. We had one but replaced it with a P&T because of the P&T's better maneuverability. This was important for me because I live in a large city and walk everywhere. I take the stroller out at least once a day - I easily walk 15 miles per week with it. I also take it on the subway and trolleybuses. I needed something that was as easy to get around with as a single. A traditional tandem didn't cut it. And a side-by-side is too wide to get around the subway here (they're not particularly handicapped friendly either). So a P&T it was.
I highly recommend this stroller for anyone who uses their stroller a lot like I do. The downsides to it are that your kids might not like sitting in the jump seat (neither of mine are big fans), and the basket is rendered useless or next-to-useless when there's a kid in the jump seat. Also cost - but for us, it was worth it.

Would you mind posting a link to this stroller? I'm having trouble seeing it on P & T's website and I just can't visualize how it all works?! Thanks!
