Moms with Newborns?

The post below about starting a toddler playgroup got me wondering if there are any moms with newborns out there who would like to get together?

I have a 1 month old, live in Lincoln Park, and am looking for other moms to meet up for coffee, go for walks, etc. I feel like I sit around, feeding my baby all day long and I need to get out! All of the playgroups I can find start around the 6 month mark, which feels so far away!

I live in Uptown, but have a 7-week old girl.  I'm only on maternity leave until the end of October, but I'd be up for a coffee or walk if you wanted.  I have to get out everyday, otherwise I get completely stir crazy!  My email is catherine_beirne@yahoo.com.

I have an 8 week old and would be interested in a get-together! I go back to work part-time on Monday but would love to get to know other new moms in the city!
