My Ovulation Chart
Hoping for a shamrock baby....Grandma, I know you are up there looking down on me. March and St Patrick's Day is a very special time for all of us. It would be amazing to find out I was pregnant in March! Please send me all your Irish luck (been trying for 7 months and I need it!) I Love you! XOXOXOXO

The only reason not to get the flu shot is if you are allergic to it or if you have some sort of medical reason that makes you ineligible. Otherwise, the flu shot is something everyone should get.

I certainly don't attribute my flu shot last September to me not getting PG. I actually made it a point to get it early (I used to get it in October or November, out of laziness/forgetfulness) because I knew we were going to TTC.
Same goes for this year. We're getting ready to start trying again, so I got one the other day to make sure it's taken care of. I had swine flu in 2008, determined by me getting the actual respiratory flu a month after getting a regular--not H1N1--flu shot. Never been more scared in my life; I don't feel like risking that while TTC. Never again will I put off getting the shot. It's never given me any adverse effects.

I would get a flu shot while ttc. Like pp said, you are supposed to get on while pregnant.
Also, I don't think you can get one if you are allergic to eggs.
I had my yearly today and my doctor asked me about my ttc plans. I told her we were waiting until this winter to actively start trying.
She was highly suggesting it, and told me they only last about 6 months. So if you are ttc right now, I would suggest getting the shot now.
She also said if you don't usually get the flu shot, don't put it into your system.
Why? I got the flu shot for the first time last year and had no ill effects. My doctor recommended it, even though I never had it before.
