Alright, this newb's got two:

1. I know it's very foolish for a newb to actually post a confession that is remotely flameful (so, that means anything). Yet I'm posting anyway.

2. Inspired by last night's "I overdosed my child" thread: If my DD spit up a dose of infant ibuprofen right after taking it, I also would have given her another dose. The real confession: I would have never even thought to call poison control. Color me MOTY . 

Before I get slaughtered, here is my defense : She is on the top end of the weight limit for the smallest dose, so I would assume that getting even potentially the full dose for the larger weight class would be just fine on rare occasion. I also take into account that the dosage information is always modest. She also rarely gets it, so I wouldn't be too worried about liver damage. Part of me really doubts my mother instincts in this case, because I would never want anything to hurt her! But, I think (I hope) I'm being fairly rational with my reasoning.

No flames.  Samsies, and my kid is small.  It was a good idea for her to call, sure, but I probably wouldn't have thought to if she spit up right after taking the first dose.

Do you have a repertoire of songs that you could sing to him? FWIW, Izzy like music and dancing so I let her watch the wiggles and sesame street. That's about it.

I  feel like I have a shorter fuse with Morgan than I do with Grant.  Maybe it's because she's older and she should know better?  Most days she drives me insane.  I honestly think part of the problem is she's such a smart kid she gets bored easily.  I always have to entertain her and move from one thing to the next.  It's exhausting.  She also comes up with crazy stuff all the time.  I seriously look at her like how the eff do you know that?  I definitely think disciplining and parenting her is going to suck the life out of me.

It's just a t-shirt, DH put her in it.  She was clearly very pleased about it, LOL.  I told her "Lainey, say go Patriots" and she said "NINI!" which I think means "GO NINERS!".  Mama's girl through and through ::smug look of satisfaction::

I think I feel so overwhelmed by the things he COULD be listening to that I never actually buy anything.  I hadn't really thought of musicals but I bet he'd like them, and it would give me an excuse to have them in the house...since DH hate them furiously :P.

ETA I have actually thought of getting a Sound of Music soundtrack.  Because I'm dorky like that.  But not other musicals.  What ones do your girls like?

I worry about iron levels too, because I've always had low iron, so she didn't even have a taste of WCM until she was 11 months. Does she eat a lot of meat and leafy green veggies?

She eats EVERYTHING. But for dinner she still eats the 3rd food jars, which are usually meat or something of that sort. Her favorite is steamed broccoli, which she eats pretty often.
