I just tested positive yesterday and I am officially joining the 2u2 crowd. DD will be 21 months old when this baby is born at the end of May. I am thinking completely ahead but I like to plan and would not like to have to spend a lot all at once. I would like to slowly start buying stuff. Any ideas would help!
Re: Newly pregnant with 2u2 what do I need?
The only big thing we'll need is a new crib/dresser/changing table set (and a matress and bedding) and clothes, if it's a girl. We have all gender neutral stuff from DS and kept his infant carseat so I think most of it will transfer over perfectly.
Hopefully you can do the same!

I am the same-- spread out the expense.
LO#2 will be in our room for quite a while so I am not worried about the crib.
What DH and I have started doing is that each time we go to Wal-Mart we buy a thing of diapers (not the huge size but still..) and get $20 cash back. The cash we put in a jar labeled "cruise fund". LOL. That is now the "if this baby has to be a soy formula baby like DD.." fund.
When we go to Sams to buy DD's diapers we will get a box of wipes/diapers for LO#2.
It helps me feel prepared. I am a big one on stocking up!
That is what I want to do space it out a little bit. We wont be finding out the gender with this one. I have all the stuff from DD and all of it is in perfect condition yet so we will use that. I am definitely going to need a double stroller. Since new LO will be in our room for the first few months we are just planning on moving DD into her big girl bed when we put new LO into the nursery. The only thing we have to get for that is paint and a new mattress.
I guess I am just looking for the little things. In which your list got me thinking. So thank you!
