I like to angel wing fold mine but I think they are already getting too small. I am getting blowouts and they are becoming hard to wrap around his waist. How long did your infant prefolds last? And, what do you use the too small ones for besides burp cloths? I hate to give up prefolds already but I may need too...I can't belive my 2 mos old is already growing out of them!
Praying this little one sticks!
Re: Infant Prefolds
I use mine as inserts for my Fuzzibunz/BumGenius pockets.
I was sad when my son outgrew his newborn ones so quick, but they're so cheap I don't mind sizing up. If you want to try and 'tri-fold' the prefold and place it into the cover, that would make them last longer.

ditto this... except I may have only gotten like 6 weeks (or less) out of mine! My kid was 12 lb at a month. : We blew through the small fairly quickly too. But the mediums have lasted us for what feels like forever! (Although we just trifold them now instead of using a snappi)
We'll miss you sweet Debbie Girl (4.21.12) and sweet Cindy Girl (8.9.12)

I skipped the NB size, and (of course) was induced and had a 6lb oz tiny baby.
Despite being so small, the prefold still functioned without leaking- I've found more issues with leaking in too small-diapers than too-large diapers. That being said, this time around I WILL be buying like 6 XS prefolds, both as a secuirty and for using as inserts later on. 6 PF costs like $8 so it's not a bad investment.

We skipped the newborn prefolds and went with the size small diaper rite prefolds (they fit from 8-18lbs). I literally just gave them to a friend to use when she has her baby.
DS2 was 8lb at birth and just now is about 19-20lbs. When they stopped wrapping around I just tri-folded them and put them in a cover. Definitely try that.
