I'm thankful that the cortisone seems to be helping a little already and I might be back to normal at some point soon!
I'm also thankful for cooler weather and that it's turning to fall. It's my favorite season and I just feel so happy when it starts to feel like fall!
Also, I'm thankful that we called to get another estimate for our windows. We decided not to replace them after the 3 estimates we got last year were WAY more than we could pay. We decided we had to do the bedrooms before the baby comes because cold air blows through them! One of the companies we talked to last year was able to put us in with another big order and get us the en masse discount. They will end up being about 1/2 the price of the quote we got a year ago and we can now afford to do the whole house!
I'm thankful that my bridesmaid dress for my sister's wedding this weekend still zips, when I ordered it I had no intention of being pregnant on the big day. Also thankful that we will be able to tell the rest of the extended family after this weekend (didn't want to take any attention away from the wedding).
I'm thankful that I got to hear both of the babies' heart beats on the office doppler on Tuesday. I went in because I'm sick and they wanted to check on the babies. It was the first time (ever) that I've heard both of their heart beats... not including our first ultrasound.

I'm thankful that my Dr. told me yesterday that I have less than a 1% chance of m/c now. I still think it's crazy that this baby is doing so well. Since I've had other losses, it's like I have been waiting for something bad to happen. I've done my best to not get attached so I don't have to feel that heartbreak again. I finally feel like I might be able to let myself accept this pregnancy and get excited for the baby that is growing more every day. I am so thankful for this little miracle!
I am thankful that my OB only took 2 days to get back to me with our NT/1st tri bloodwork results! I was a bit nervous answering the phone call thinking something must be extremely wrong for them to call so soon, but everything is GREAT! My risks are very low.
I am still amazed everyday that things are going so well. Each day the little doubt in the back of my mind is getting smaller...makes me smile
I'm very thankful that I haven't been very sick. My sister was very sick with her second child and I thought for sure I'd be in the same boat but haven't been!
I am incredibly grateful that I only have to make it 2 more days before DH finally comes home. He's been gone for the last two months
I am grateful that I am finally starting to gain weight. We were starting to get concerned.
I am grateful that I get to see the babies on the 26th and it will be first time DH gets to see them "live" rather than scanned copies
oh, and that DD1 has her yoga class after school today, which means I have time to take a long nap with DD2 before picking her up (the class is at her school).

I am very thankful my grandma is healing well. Last week she dislocated her shoulder on Monday and had gall bladder surgery on Friday. Yesterday morning she was working in the garden. She's pretty tough for an 80 year old which is good because I don't know what I would do without her.
I'm thankful that tomorrow is finally Friday and I have an OB appointment. I'm looking forward to hearing both heartbeats and hopefully scheduling our next u/s to find out the sexes!!

I'm thankful I have an awesome co worker across the hall from me. Having another teacher that teaches the same grade, who has the same sense of humor as me really makes the days go by faster and makes me enjoy my job a lot more!

Very thankful for my support team, my DH and my mom. Throughout this whole pregnancy, I have had a rough time battling hyperemesis. It has been difficult, but I don't think that I would have been getting through it without there love and support! I thank GOD for everything, even you lovely ladies such a great experience!
I am thankful for my best girlfriend, she is such a good support person. Mh is gone all week visiting his parents, (I didn't want to go, since I was feeling really sick when he planned on going and they were going to be on a boat fishing the whole time) so anyway, my friend has been there, to hang out, keep me company, get me out of the house, and just chat with. We are always doing things like that for eachother, our husbands are fightfighters and are gone on shift for 24 hours at a time, but often leave this time of the year for bigger fires, so we always say that we are the step in during their absence. Anyway, sorry that ended up being long. But I am thankful for my friend.
