Something to look forward to when your 2U2 are 2 toddlers

Just wanted to come back and post a picture of my 2U2 - they are 14 months and almost 3 now - and they are best buds (also partners-in-crime...). But its so much fun to watch them grow together.

I was very nervous to have 2U2 (21 months apart) - and they are certainly a handful, but much easier than I imagined.

Here is them posing for me before 'picture day' at their daycare. They make me melt (holding hands!).

So sweet! This reminds me of my boys...all the craziness of the 1st year was so worth it to see them play (or fight) together now! They are 20 months apart....3 and 15 months! I would do it again in a heart beat (moght not have said that a few months ago though)! They are amazing!

I love it too...mine are 21 months apart as well...though I would say when they were both actually under 2.5 was when it was easier...now that DS can talk and DD is right behind...the whining and tantrums can really get to you...and the fact that I constantly have to keep a watchful eye on them so they don't hurt each other (they like to play rough)...the challenges become greater the older they get...in my opinion.

Thanks for posting! This gives me hope. Mine DD and DS will be 15 months apart and I need some positive reinforcement that we made the right decision to do 2u2.

Love it! I just talked with my friend whose kids are about 20 months apart, and they are now almost 6 and just turned 4. She said they are best buds and love to play together. I agree that it's hard at first, but now seeing how close my kids will be (not just in age), I would do it again. DS loves to give DD hugs and kisses, and I can tell that DD just adores her big bro. Yes, they have their jealous moments, but I think because DS was only 18 months when DD arrived, he won't remember what it was like to be an only child.
