Having #2 past due date. Argh~

I hate to complain, because after educating myself, convincing myself and preparing myself, I have learned that it is perfectly normal and healthy to go past the EDD of 40 weeks. My first son, is a complete mystery as my cycle was totally screwed up when we conceived him, and he was born supposedly at 37w2d. This time around, 22 mos after having DS#1, I am 40w5d and Im losing it. I am probably 50% effaced and 2.5 cm dilated as of monday. I trust that everything is okay and my body is capable of having labor on its own but its freaking me out. I refused induction until after or on exactly my 42nd week. With DS#1 my water spontaneously broke without contractions and I had him 2hrs40mins later. I just need a little encouragement that my body will go into labor!

    I was almost 2 weeks late with dd. Yeah, the end is rough, but the end is def in sight! Hang in there!
