let's talk about ear wax

At DD's 9-month well check up, her pedi noticed that she has a lot of ear wax built up and suggested putting a couple drops of olive oil in her ear to clear it up. Have any of you had experience with this or other ear wax removal methods? Honestly I can't imagine wrestling with DD to get this done because she would win every time. Have I mentioned that DD has the strength of a centaur?

    I truly believe that babies are born with super powers.  DS amazes me sometimes!  I asked the Dr. for tips on suctioning out DS's nose and they said to sit with his head between my legs and put his arms under my thighs.  HTH

     Have you tried a nosefrida?  My DS objects to it much less than the bulb syringe...

    And my DS has lots of earwax too, I think he inherited it from daddy.
