Introduction

Hello all. I am new to the board. I will admit that I have been lurking for several weeks and decided it was finally time to introduce myself. My husband and I just celebrated our 2 year anniversary, but we have been together a total of 6 years. I ended my last pack of BC mid August and we started TTC soon after.

Sad Unfortunately, AF reared her ugly head so now we are preparing for round 2! I have not yet started charting BBT but after reading everyone else's post I probably should. I am 26 so I know that I am still young and many say that I have plenty of time but am a little skeptical because I have a very extensive thyroid history which is well known to have negative effects on fertility and ovulation. I am open to all suggestions and advice!!!!

I just ordered the Wondfo ovulation strips and plan to start testing this month. Any suggestions or tips for using these strips from someone with experience?

I would suggest charting even if just temp to know when in fact you ovulated i had a few long cycles coming off bcp and kept thinking i was late wasn't charting yet, charting greatly curves this as you then know if and when you are truely late.

Welcome and good luck! I know that charting isn't for everyone, as it can be stressful, but I think if you are just starting out, it can be extremely helpful in figuring out what is going on with your body. Even if you do it for a couple of months to get an idea of when you O, or just put your mind at ease that you DO in fact O, I think you would find it pretty informative. OPK's are great, but they don't give you as much information as temping does. Once again, welcome and good luck!
