Hello from PCB :)
Hey ladies my name is Kayleigh and im from our lovely West Coast; Panama City Beach! I am 19 weeks and am due 2-6-12. I go for my gender ultrasound on Monday but have been having a panic attack daily because I havent felt the baby move. This is my first and I may not know what to be feeling but do you think i have a need to be nervous?
Also whats the easy way to let mother-in-law to be know that I want my mom to plan my baby shower? Any ideas?

Hi and congrats. I am near Tallahassee. With it being the first baby you probably just don't know it is moving, or it may befacing in, which makes it harder to feel.
Have your inlaws mentioned planning one? If not then maybe have your mom touch base with them and let them know hey I am planning a shower on such and such date and wanted to give you advance notice.
Congrats! And having my 1st I was completely freaked/paranoid every time I didn't feel baby move. Just stay relaxed, eat right,& drink plenty of water....
As for soon to be MIL....If you are having one baby shower combining both families, I would let MIL have some part in it, but let her know what it is you want her to do. This is what I found to work for us (although my sisters/SIL did most of the baby shower for us.) IMO There's no need to argue over the baby shower if someone is throwing it for you.

im from pcb 2 i just had my son 3 weeks ago . he was the same way he wouldnt move alot but hes probably just moving when ur asleep ,his position and ur activity level can effect if u feel him move also but if ur worried i would ask the doc.
