We're having another nap issue.

We've been using the swing for naps, and swaddling, which has been working well for us. LO was able to put himself to sleep in the swing. But on the weekend he learned how to flip over in the swing, and that put an end to that.... now naps are in the crib.

So that is new, and he's struggling so much in his swaddle I decided to try without it. After crazy amounts of crying, me shushing, rocking, bouncing, leaving in the crib, shushing, bouncing etc, he ended back up swaddled. I then had to feed him, it had been so long. He proceeds to then throw up into my hand, all over himself and the pillow on my lap. I then bang my head on the corner of the dresser reaching for a new blanket. Finally get him asleep. Lasts 6 minutes.

He's now been down for 9... please let it last longer than 28 minutes.. his longest today.

oh no! sounds painful and tiring mama! Im sorry

have you tried easing out if the swaddle? one arm out... then both.... before moving on to no swaddle

Those days suck! Lila's second tooth is trying to pop through, and is determined to make my life miserable in the process. It took me 90 minutes to get her down for a 30 minute nap today. *hugs* - we'll get through this!
