So bens room gets chilly in the winter. I never bought the bedding set for his crib, b/c we just used sleepers, but he's starting to boycott anything with feet. So i'm getting a "toddler bedding" set to use in his crib, until we transition him to a toddler bed over the winter.
What toddler bedding set do you have and love?
When did child start using a pillow?
Re: More toddler transition ?s
Not that I have a toddler, but we've realized that 1 - Charlotte likes to snuggle into things and 2 - she will actually keep a blanket on, so I have been giving her one of those baby blankets to sleep with now that it is getting cooler in the evenings. I always go in and cover her up after she has fallen alseep and I usually find her with the blanket still on later in the night, unless she gets too hot. So far that has been good for us. No pillows yet, but sometimes she lays on her stuffed bunny.
L hasn't liked sleeper pjs for awhile, because he needs to be able to rub his stomach to fall asleep. So last winter we used to put him in his normal pjs and then put a sweatshirt (without a hood) and sweatpants on over them and htat worked well since he wouldn't keep a blanket on. We did also give him a blanket it but it fell off a lot. He's better at keeping it on now, but it still falls off a lot.
We gave him a pillow when he moved to a big boy bed. We started with a mini pillow and in just the last month he has started to use a standard sized pillow.
