BF and hormones question

Recently my skin has broken out and so has DS's.  I have been BF him for 13 months.  I was wondering if there could be a change in my hormones that is causing this at this point.  I know when they are newborns they can get acne from the mother's hormones.  I thought maybe it was possible if my hormones are changing due to breastfeeding less often.  I have not had AF return yet, so maybe something like that is about to happen?  Has anyone heard of this?

I haven't heard of the baby also breaking out.  My acne started around the same time.

With your DS, don't rule out a food allergy, especially to fruit or other acidic foods.
