DD is going to be 15 months in a few weeks and daycare told me that when she turns into a toddler she'll be sleeping on a mat on the floor instead of a crib. So I need to get a nap mat - yesterday was the first time I'd ever heard of one! I looked online last night and saw some cute ones at Pottery Barn Kids but the reviews are mixed and I want to make sure it's thick enough to be on the floor, not on a cot or anything. So can anyone recommend someplace to buy a good quality nap mat? I was thinking under $75. Thanks!
Re: Nap mat for daycare?
Sorry, I wouldn't spend anywhere near $75 on a nap mat. I would either get a kindermat and bring a blanket or one of these from amazon for $26. It's not going to last a lifetime, but it will serve its purpose.
We have this one too.
I have one like this:

I have also seen them at Buy Buy Baby for sale.
Our daycare recommends the Wildkin Nap Mat. You can buy them on Amazon or Diapers.com. They are about $50, although sometimes you can get a coupon or catch them on sale for around $40.
You can also make one. Who has the time for this, but it is an option - there are patterns online. I actually got my retired Aunt to make one for us and it turned out great!
