How many times do you wake to pee?

This is driving me nuts. I am having to wake up 3 or 4 times a night to pee. It's really affecting my quality of sleep and my energy level. Just wondering what the other March mom's are experiencing?

I go right before I go to bed, then I'm up at least once, sometimes twice.  If I don't get up twice, when my alarm goes off I'm usually about to burst.  Fun stuff.  Guess it's good practice for when I'll be up a dozen times a night starting in March!

This is similar to my issue. I sleep with my mouth open and always wake up really parched. So each of the 2-4 times I'm up to pee, I also need to have a sip of water, which just perpetuates the vicious cycle!

usually at least 3 times a night, it was like this when i was pregnant with our first, too...i truly do think it's natures way of conditioning us for the baby's arrival. get ready to feed a newborn every 2 hrs for those first few weeks....we'll be up a lot in just a few more months.

On a bad night 4 times.  On a good night 1-2.  Last night was the first good night's sleep since i found out I was pregnant.  I think my issue has been living in a cooler climate for the first time in my life I'm not used to sleeping with windows open.  I'm a southern girl, used to turning the AC on in April and off in October.  Here in Seattle almost no one has AC at all!  Last night was the first night we slept with windows shut and I only got up once.  It was glorious!

Typically just 2 times. Once between 2am-3am and usually again around 5am. It's like clockwork!

Just once. I got to bed late and wake up early so I'm not in bed that long. The lack of sleep kills me, but I'm having trouble staying asleep.

2-3, I understand what you mean. I feel like I don't sleep well when I get up more than once during the night.

 ME TOO... Argg...Each time I come back from the restroom I tell myself you really shouldn't drink this water, you're only going to have to get up again... and then I proceed to drink the water...

4 or more times a night! I think part of that is cuz I also wake up hungry about 3 times a night so I munch cashews and pee in the same little wake up break. I feel like I just take several mini naps instead of one good nights sleep!

2-4 times per night.  It is really frustrating because I've always been a really sound sleeper.  I was counting on not having my sleep majorly interrupted until the 3rd tri.  I was wrong about that!  

 

By the way, I'm not sure how some of you are surviving with your 6 hours of sleep.  Since about week 6, I go to bed between 7:30 and 8pm every night and can barely drag myself out of bed at 5:45 in the morning.  I'm still totally exhausted when I get done with work at 4.

For me it's always at least one time and sometimes two or three. I'm the same as PP, I'm usually thirsty and have to have a small drink after I pee, which just makes it worse!

I usually go before I go watch TV in the bed. Then when I'm ready to turn the TV off (30-60 minutes later) I get up and go again. Then I can normally make it to 4am when DH's alarm clock goes off. Sometimes I have to go before then but if it is close, I just wait.

Once in a while I have to get up before 4.

I'm usually up 2-3 times a night.  What kills me is that when I get up, my cats think that it is time to get up and play.  They start running all around and then stepping all over me when I get back into bed.  I almost lost it at 3am today because they would NOT leave me alone.

Before I was pregnant, I never woke up to go to the bathroom. and if i did i always held it. Since being pregnant I have woken up about once a night to go to the bathroom. Last night I got up 3 times, and I am hoping that doesn't continue haha

I do not typically wake up at all to pee. I lay down about 10:00 and watch tv for about an hour and then wake up at 6:20 when the hubby comes in to say goodbye.

Although, I usually do not make it past the time I wake up because I will burst.

I realized that I drank way too much before bed and was getting up 2-3 times during the night and I hated it. So I've stopped drinking any water about an hour before bed, and I usually try to go a few times before I actually go to bed lol. So now, its only been about once a night most nights.

Usually 2-3 times, sometimes 4 if it's a really restless night.  No matter what, though, I always wake for one of my trips at 2am (literally btwn 1:50 and 2:10, never any earlier/later) - weird.

I'm up 3-4 times, but luckily I just wake right up with the urge to pee, go to the bathroom and am pretty much back asleep the minute my head hits the pillow, so aside from annoying it hasn't affected my sleep too much.

I usually only go once, around midnight.  I'm going to bed at 9 - 9:30, then peeing at midnight and sleeping until 6:30.  It's working out pretty well.  The other times that I do wake up to go pee, I force myself to stay in bed because it's really hard to go back to sleep if I get up.  Plus, the dog will want to go out too...

Well I was 3-5 times a night and then I spoke to my doctor about it. He said if I meet my liquids quota during the day I can stop drinking liquids at 6. A few sips here and there wont hurt. I tried this and I didn't even wake up once. I just keep forgetting to stop at 6!

Anywhere from 2-4.  Sometimes the first time is at 11:30, and sometimes it's at 4am.  It depends.
