Are you an organ donor? If so, is it on your drivers license or did you go about it some other way. I'll be honest-I'm on the fence about it-I know I should do it but haven't "sucked it up" yet and gotten on the donor list
DH's best friend had a kidney transplant last year. And a friend of ours from high school had 2 heart transplants (unfortunately she passed away a few years ago- her story is here https://marcenasmiracles.com/marcenas-miracles/journey.html )
And most importantly my family & close friends know how important it is to me. Once I close the pregnancy/breastfeeding door I hope to get back into donating blood & signing up for the marrow registry.

Yup, what Kim said minus knowing anyone. I haven't donated blood since before being pregnant with dd, but after this baby we are done so I can get back to that after nursing is done. You can sign up while pregnant for the bone marrow registry, you just can't donate until later.

This is really important too! Bc even if you sign up, but then your spouse has a problem with it, I would think it would stop the process or at least delay which might make a difference in the organs.
I am a donor. My mom was on the double lung transplant list for 2 years before she died without getting them. I would want to save someone's loved one if I could.

Yes. I just signed up for it when I renewed my license last month. I was sort of on the fence because I don't really want my body going to science. I would prefer the organs get used by someone that needs them, but I know it is all necessary.
I am an organ donor it is not on my license because I havent had to get it renewed yet. You can simply register online at Donate life or thrugh the DMV. I would love to see everyone do it. I lost my mom 2 years ago she was 45, we donated all of her organs, tissues, eyes, anything that we could donate we did. I know that it is a hard decision to make and it takes time to decide what you want to do, but honestly it is a good feeling knowing that even after a love one passes they are still able to help others out.
I am an organ donor and I regularly donate blood when I'm not pg or bfing. DH and my family know that I want my organs donated but it's not on my license yet.
Re: Because I'm curious...
Yes, officially through my driver's license & through the Donate Life Registry:

Yes, and it is on my license.
xKimx: Good reminder, I can start donating blood again. I usually do this on a regular basis as well.

Yes, just from signing my license.
Kudos to all of you who donate blood. I am a repeat pass-outer and aside from one or two vials when necessary, they recommended I never donate.
